Age Certificate

 We are planning on giving our film the certificate of 15. We are making it 15 because:

• "strong violence"
• "frequent strong language (eg 'f***')."
  
  
  These two bullet points will be included in our own film because the story line is about kidnapping and there is a rescue involved, so there will be quite a lot of violence included. Also there will be strong language when the mother is trying to find her daughter because she is freaking out.
• "Many horror films are rated 15. At 15 there can be strong threat and menace (as long as it is not sadistic or sexualised), although the strongest gory images are unlikely to be acceptable."
  
  Though our film isn't horror, it will still be quite disturbing because the main guy is mentally ill so it makes the film quite creepy. Also because the girl is caught and locked up in a basement so we decided it would be too freaky for a 12.
